Do you have any interesting names of localities and railway stations in your country that sound strange, whether in your language or some other language?
In Russia, or to be more precise, in the city of Lyubertsy, there is a Panki station (named after a village that no longer exists, which became part of the city of Lyubertsy). The stress in the word is on the last vowel, but I read it with the stress on the first syllable, which sounds like the word punks(ru: Панки) (as a subculture)
