Does anyone else here also work in Production and think things move….really slow?

I came here expecting balls to the wall, get shit done type of schedule. I’ve found the complete opposite. Things move slow. Designs are slow to mature, parts are slow to arrive, and once everything is lined up, builds don’t take that long. The assemblies are simple, as they should be for something that is supposed to be cheap and affordable.

Maybe I just need to adjust expectations, I just expecting to be much busier.

Do I need track everything…for the rest of my life?

I’m in my 30s. Long time over eater and couch potato.

This year, I’ve been tracking every calorie through tracking apps and all activity through my fitness watch. I’ve had great success and down 40 lbs.

I’m nearing where I want to be, health wise and appearance.

Should I be tracking this stuff forever if I’m having success? Will there ever be a time that I can just “eat and workout” and not worry?

Curious what people who’ve been down this path have done.
