Day 11 of my preparation journey......

Yesterday I started on Mensuration topic basics, revised Geometry through pyqs, attempted Line graph DI sets & also practiced Strengthen & weaken RCs along with Assumption-based RCs..

The daily prep routine continues & confidence is growing with each step forward towards exam date...

For today - 19 August, my plan is :

1. QA - will start Number system topic & will revise mensuration from ncert & pyqs

2. DILR - will do practice Tables-based DI sets

3. VARC - will focus on Inference-based RCs again with some Para summary practice questions

Day 10 of my preparation journey....

Yesterday... I started Geometry topic, did revision of Algebra, practiced Pie chart DI sets & worked on Assumption-based RCs along with Inference-based RCs as revision..

The routine continues and confidence is building more and more with each step forward.

For today (18 August), my plan is like :

1. Quants : will start Mensuration topic & revise Geometry through pyqs practice

2. DILR : will attempt Line Graph DI sets for variety in study

3. VARC : will focus on strengthen/weaken RCs & continue with Assumption-based RCs yesterday's topic

Day 9 of my preparation journey.....

Yesterday... I start Algebra basics, revised Profit & loss topic, attempted Bar graph DI sets & practice Inference-based RCs along with Para summary Qns.

The routine is as usual as and my confidence is building one step at a time

For today - 17 August , my plan is

1. QA - will start Geometry basics & revise yesterdays's Algebra topic

2. DILR - will do work on Pie Chart DI sets for making my analytical and decision making ability more improved through quesns

3. VARC - will start doing Assumption-based RCs & continue with inference based RCs as revision practice

Day 8 of my preparation journey....

Yesterday I started with Profit & loss basics, had revise SI–CI concepts, some do practice Caselet-based DI sets & worked on Author’s tone RCs along with Para summary Qns...

The routine is clear & my confidence is growing step by step

For today (16 August).... my plan is like -

1. Quants : will start Algebra basics & revise Profit & loss topic

2. DILR : will attempt Bar Graph DI sets for variety in DILR quesns

3. VARC : will practice Inference-based RCs & continue with Para summary practice quesns

Yesterday I have started Simple & compound interest topic , have revised Time speed & distance through pyqs , have attempted Set theory (Venn-based) problems and practiced Para summary along with Odd sentence out Qns...

The routine is steady & confidence is growing step by step..... move forward

For today (14 August).... my plan is like -

1. Quants : will start Profit & loss topic & revise previous SI–CI concepts

2. DILR: will do practice Caselet-based DI sets for variety and something different

3. VARC: try to focus on Author’s tone RCs & continue para summary practice Qns

Yesterday I started Time, Speed & Distance topic, revised Time & work, practice Games & Tournaments sets & worked on Fact vs Opinion RCs along with my Odd sentence out Qns.....

The routine is holding steady & I am building confidence daily with each topic

For today (12 August).... my plan is like -

1. Quants : will start Simple interest & Compound interest basics & will revise Time, speed & Distance topic through pyqs

2. DILR : attempt Set Theory (Venn-based) problems for more logical clarity & thinking

3. VARC : will focus on Para Summary practice & continue with Odd sentence out pyqs....

Day 5 of my preparation journey....

Yesterday I worked on Time & Work topic, revised Averages, attempt Venn Diagram sets and practiced Tone-based RCs along with Odd sentence out practice questions.

The routine is slowly-slowly becoming more natural & I can also feel my confidence building bit by bit....

For today - 11 August my plan is like this -

1. Quants : I will start Time, Speed & Distance basics and revise Time & work topic which I done yesterday.

2. DILR : will do practice Games & Tournaments sets for a better logical flow

3. VARC : in varc I will focus on Fact vs Opinion RCs & continue with Odd sentence out practice Qns

My aim is still remains unchanged just a consistent effort every single day until - 29 November 2026....

Day 4 of my preparation journey......

Yesterday I covered Averages basics.....revise Percentage formulas, try some Tabular arrangement sets & practice Main idea RCs along with Odd sentence out questions....

The pace is steady & I am starting to feel more comfortable with the daily rhythm & confidence

For today (10 August) my plan is like

1. Quants: will start Time & Work basics & revise Average

2. DILR: attempt Venn Diagram sets to strength logical reasoning topic

3. VARC: will focus on Tone-based RCs & continue with Odd sentence out practice as usual

My aim remains the same..... just consistent effort every single day until 29 November 2026......

Day 3 of my preparation journey....

Yesterday I worked on topic - Percentage basics, revise Ratios, attempt Linear arrangement sets & practice Inference-based RCs along with Odd sentence out Qns...

My progress is gradual but I can feel that the fundamentals starting settle for me now...slowly slowly

For today (9 August), my plan is like :

1. Quants: start basics of Averages topic and revise percentage formulas & concepts
2. DILR: will try Tabular arrangement sets for variety in questions
3. VARC: my focus will be on (Main idea RCs) & with continue Odd sentence out practice

Aim remains the same- consistency every day until 29 November 2026.....

Day 2 of my preparation journey....

Yesterday..... I began with basics in Ratios & proportions, solved a few Circular arrangement sets & practice RCs & Odd sentence out...

My progress felt slow but steady .... Quants is still new territory for me.... so I m focusing on building a solid foundation....

For today (8 August), my plan is like -

1.Quants: move to Percentage basics & revise yesterday ratio concepts

2. DILR: attempt Linear arrangement sets to strong fundamentals

3. VARC: practice Inference-based RCs & continue with odd sentence out

My goal is to keep momentum & not to overthink ..... just consistent effort every day until 29 November 2026 ....

My profile 9/6/5 - NEF

Starting my CAT 2026 preparation journey today ..... & my 1st mock score was 31 overall (VARC 13, DILR 11, Qa 7)....

My target colleges are IIM Banglore & FMS Delhi....as they give relatively less weight to graduation marks...so I am confident that I still have chance.

Tomorrow my plan will :- to cover the basics of Ratios & proportions in Quants, solve Circular arrangement sets in DILR & practice RC's along with para jumbles & odd 1 out in VARC.

I am starting my Quants almost from 0 with around 4 months left only until CAT 2026 exam............

Will post my daily progress here until 29 November, 2026 to stay accountable & to look into that - how much consistent effort , discipline & dedication can improve my CAT score in getting a high percentile ..and also those who r in the same boat like me ... don't worry we still have time ....

Hi everyone

I have been preparing for CAT 2027 for a few days now and sometimes I end a study session feeling too confused

I solve questions, watch explanations and complete the topics I planned but at the end of the day, it feels like I havenot really learned much.

Then.. the next day, I see a similar question and struggle again. It makes me wonder if I am studying the right way or just rushing to complete topics completely into

I know improvement takes time but this feeling is a bit frustrating me.... because I am putting in the effort as much as possible for me ...

Is this something most starting aspirants go through.... or does it mean that I need to change the way I'm preparing ????
