Jerseys and sponsors logos

I just unboxed my Marina Mabrey jersey ordered online, and it doesn’t have the CIBC/Sephora logos. Just AT&T. I see they now sell both versions online.

How do we feel about the sponsorless jerseys? I presume the vast majority of people have the jerseys with the sponsor logos… (which is indeed the case for my two other Tempo jerseys)

Tampax Tempo ad campaign in the PATH

I saw a whole bunch of these today in the TD Centre.

Interesting that Kiki Rice is the most visible player in this ad... she's really shaping up to be the face of this team...

[Kennedy] Report: PWHL Expansion To DC Unlikely Unless League Shifts Ownership Model

Another new piece from Ian Kennedy, basically agrees with what those of us involved in the weekend's deep philosophical discussions about the ownership issues were saying.

Thinking about it - in less than three years, the PWHL has gone from renting mostly small weird buildings to the owners of the biggest and nicest buildings (and the most experienced owners/operators of professional sports teams) refusing to rent to them because they want to own the team! Not because they think the business sucks or that there's no demand for women's pro hockey, but because they think it's such a great opportunity they want the upside for themselves! Which seems incredible when you think about it that way.

I wonder if the league is suddenly scrambling to rethink things, possibly less expansion this year while they try to rethink the business plan to deal with this unexpected issue. Might make more sense to find a way to leverage these guys' enthusiasm somehow...

[Kennedy] PWHL Expansion: Here's Why Some NHL Markets Are In, Some Are Out, And Others Continue To Negotiate

I didn't see anyone else posting this. I know Ian Kennedy is not always the most reliable source, but this seems to agree with some of the things we were speculating about.

It's sounding like the PWHL is insisting on reasonable-but-costly/difficult-to-accommodate things in a busy arena. But if they're not offering to share any of the upside, that seems to be proving much more of a challenge...

I was just looking at an SE/30 manual to look up something for the thread about the floppy protectors, and I noticed something interesting. Manual seems to strongly suggest that the machines are shipped with unformatted hard drives and it is up to the end user and/or their Apple dealer to install the OS and everything following the instructions in another manual.

I never had any hard drive-equipped Macs in the late 1980s, so I have no personal experience, but is that right? Just as your Mac II/IIx/IIcx/IIfx didn't come with a way to plug in a monitor, did those machines all come with unconfigured hard drives?

(I presume by LC/IIsi/System 7 time, they were definitely shipping systems that could boot from the hard drive out of the box).
