Natsu from Soul Calibur 5 (WIP)

This was my first cosplay build that required armor AND a helmet wig but it was really fun and helped me to learn more about armor and prop building! It took roughly about 30+ hours. Still missing her leather calf wraps. Though I do have her weapons finished, I haven't attached them to the suit yet.

The ponytail strands can be rearranged as they're made from wire, uhu glue, wig hair and tape! The wig itself is also very sturdy.

The most tedious part of the build were the individual leaves/plating on her pauldrons. (Shoulder and hips). Carved to look like leaves and painted!

Natsu Cosplay (WIP) from Soul Calibur 5

Hey guys, this is my Natsu cosplay from Soul Calibur 5. She's currently a work-in-progress, because I am missing her calf armor/wraps. I have her weapons made, but haven't attached them to the suit yet. Velcro wasn't strong enough, so I was thinking magnets!

This cosplay was roughly 30+ hours of work! The ponytail strands can be rearranged as they're made from wire and this is a helmet wig, so its all pretty sturdy!

The most tedious part of the cosplay was cutting out each individual leaf/plating for the pauldrons (hips and shoulder), carving them and painting them. But i had so much fun making this cosplay and it was my first full cosplay build that required armor and a helmet wig!

My Natsu Cosplay (WIP)

Hi everyone! I've been a soul calibur fan since I was 5 years old playing Soul Calibur 3 on ps2! I know Natsu is not the most liked character (neither is Soul Calibur 5 the most enjoyed game) but I found her armor and hairstyle interesting and felt like it'd be a task to learn. Before this build, I had very limited experience in building armor and making wigs! I'm currently still missing her leather calf wraps and the weapons. Though I have made the weapons, I don't have a way to attach them to the suit yet! (Was gonna try out magnets.)

The build so far has taken at least 30+ hours of work. (the most tedious thing was cutting out each individual leaf/plating for the hip pauldrons, painting them and carving their design.) But it was super fun and the ponytail strands are able to be rearranged! They were made with wig hair, tape, uhu glue, and wire!

Also the background is blender, lol! Not a real background.
