What are your favourite long form podcasts?

I'm looking for suggestions for my next podcast. I like long form podcasts, deep dives into a case and the social/cultural context, investigative journalism, trial analysis. Most importantly, it must honour the victims.

Podcasts I've really enjoyed:

Paper Ghosts

Death of an Artist

In the Dark (Curtis Flowers)

Bear Brook

Hoaxed

A Very British Cult

The Retrievals

Love Trapped

Finding Cleo

Vishal

Who Killed Emma

What would you suggest? Interested in new ones or well known ones that may have passed me by - thanks!

Itchy scalp after large blood loss?

TLDR: Severe blood loss (3+ litres ) from fibroid, emergency surgery, 3 litres blood transfusions and 1 iron infusion. Discharged from hospital with 'severe anaemia following large blood loss'. Experiencing intense itching on scalp with no obvious cause. Is this due to the anaemia? Any others experienced the same? Any solutions or things that help?

Hello, I recently experienced severe vaginal bleeding (which I now know was due to a cervical fibroid). I was admitted to hospital the first night and lost around 2 litres of blood. Was given IV meds to stop bleeding and was discharged on the 2nd night after bleeding stopped with high dose tranexamic acid to take.

Early hours of the 4th morning the bleeding began again, extremely heavy, passing huge clots. I felt extremely unwell and could barely function. Got to hospital and was immediately taken to resuss, given blood transfusion. They ascertained the cause - a large cervical fibroid. My notes say I lost 3 litres of blood. I had emergency surgery to remove the fibroid and stop the bleeding and was given another 2 litres of blood via transfusion during surgery.

I was given an iron transfusion before discharge and was on blood thinning injections due to the surgery for a week after. No other meds.

I'm now entering week 3. From around 4 days after the event I began to experience intense itching on my scalp. I do itch a bit everywhere but my scalp is the worst. No obvious cause, no flaky scalp, no rash/bumps, just extreme itch. It's so bad it wakes me up/stops me sleeping. It's driving me MAD! At first I wondered if it was a reaction to the blood thinners, but now I'm wondering - is this an anaemia thing? Has anyone else experienced this? Has anything worked?!?

I'm supposed to get my blood count done 1 month after the event by my GP (I'm in the UK) but haven't been given any other advice so would appreciate hearing from anyone who has experienced similar with tips/advice on how to manage the anaemia.

Thanks for reading :)
