c’mon editors…

when i saw those god awful portraits in episode 1 (as most of you have as well), i thought ok the hate is absolutely deserved and they’ll just edit out the close-ups to make sure this season doesn’t embarass itself with its questionable editing (there have been a few sound issues too)

but nope, 3 episodes in they just couldn’t bother to remove them. i’m not mad at it, but i question why would they believe this was ok. not just generating slop, but proudly showing it each episode.

it just clocked to me.

back to the ep 3 tie, i just fully realized production chose a’keria to stay even though morgan’s track record (and frankly tv quality) seemed objectively better, because they NEEDED that silky beef on camera. they had to know ahead, like with alyssa and coco etc.

for this same reason, kennedy probably couldn’t have won that deborah cox lipsync even if she outperformed a’keria (which she was very close to). production just can’t afford to lose the a’keria v silky drama.
