Thanks to a mutual friend and pure chance, I got to work on Conner's special and meet him over Zoom. He needed someone to animate the 3D scenes at the end and I, being a huge fan, had already seen the special live when he was touring a year prior. Conner was incredibly nice and very generous. I basically told him I was willing to do it for free, but he insisted on paying me fairly, and he ended up giving me way more than I had quoted him. Overall I had a great experience, and to this day it remains one of the strangest things that has ever happened to me.
