Sick and missed a bunch of work but never went to hospital, have to meet with board for attendance next week

Throughout June/July, I got sick, traveled to to Cali to help my gf move in with me, then got sick again. Missed like 1-3 days a week for 3 weeks, then got better and worked a week, missed a week, worked a week and then missed one day last week, I got notified today I have to meet with the committee on Wednesday next week.

Should I be worried? I've been with the union/my current company since May 8th, and my foreman/contractor said they are happy with my work just I need better attendance which I'm taking steps to be healthier so I don't miss work.

How long do you think i might have to wait for my call? Took my aptitude test on 4/23/2026 and got my rank on 4/24/2026. I've completed 2 years of trade school in minnesota. I called the office and was told that I just have to wait for a contractor to put in a call for an apprentice but as far as im aware theres a LOT of work going on there.

Took my test Thursday last week, Got my rank of #1 on Friday.

When do you think I should expect to get a call out to work?

Any tips for a 2nd year apprentice? (2 years trade school)
