NBDHE

I take my NBDHE at the end of September and to say I’m freaking out would be an understatement. I took a mock exam on AndyRDH to see where I’m at and I got a 64%. It definitely made me feel bad and like I knew nothing. There were so many questions especially about drugs that seemed like a foreign language to me. I need tips! For those who passed, what did you use and what advice can you give me so I can pass on my first attempt.

What do I do??

Today my doctor had a dental procedure on a stomatitis cat. While doing this procedure she became irritated and began taking it out on the technicians and the patient by being extremely rough with the extractions. This resulted in a root tip getting stuck lateral INSIDE the mandibular canal and a broken jaw…
She retrieved the root, but who knows what kind of nerve damage could’ve been done from that. My main concern is that she did not tell the cats owner that she broke the jaw, nor is it notated in the patients notes. There is an xray of it in the chart, but I feel like it needs to notated in her actual notes and she should’ve told the owner. This poor cat is going to be in so much pain and the owner has no clue. How does this get addressed? Is this something I can go to the boards to make a complaint about?
