Why is the price of this weapon dropping so rapidly?

Bruh.. When I got this weapon, it was worth around 250G, but now the price has dropped to only 80–90G.
How can I tell whether a weapon is worth buying? Is there any way to predict if its price will go up or down? Also, what’s the best thing to invest gold in?
