“Gamers Have Rights, Too!”: Mélenchon Speaks Out Against Sony and the End of Physical Discs
What if Jean-Luc Mélenchon was to become gamers' favorite candidate? On his X account, the leader of La France Insoumise spoke out on Thursday, July 2, against Sony’s announcement from the previous day that it would end sales of physical game discs.
“With GTA VI coming out on a disc-free format in 2026 and Sony’s announcement that it will stop selling physical game discs in 2028, the question arises as to how we view these products. “In the future, you’ll pay without ever owning anything. No sharing, no resale, and no guarantee that you’ll keep what you paid for,” he wrote.
He then emphasized: “Video games are not mere commodities; they are cultural assets, and current laws must apply to them.”
French Presidential Election: Leftist Billionaire Matthieu Pigasse claims he's ready to be the Left's candidate if called upon.
He plans to raise the minimum wage higher than even Mélenchon wants.
I'll add that from Wikipedia
>According to Marianne and Vanity Fair, Emmanuel Macron made the leap into politics that Matthieu Pigasse had always dreamed of making but never managed to achieve.
>As a charismatic investment banker who is highly conscious of his public image, Matthieu Pigasse is said to be jealous of Macron.

As I understand from Wikipedia, we only have traces of their language in later Korean sources, but nothing about the people themselves. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peninsular_Japonic
