Do you think Colonel Young ended up fixing the lottery in s1ep4, the one where destiny flies into a sun for the first time and they send out a shuttle of people to survive?

My first watch through, i was curious, but ultimately decided i thought he did not because of how staunchly he was against it. But with each watch through, i think more and more that maybe he did end up fixing it. Or at least partly. There was just too much a diversity in high expertise in each person. Even the two or so randos who weren't part of the main or known cast were both doctors. The more I think about it, the more I think it was too complimentary of a crew to be random, he still sent some lower level experts in their field (but still experts) with some of the high enough level of experts to make it seem at least a little bit random. Even Becker - he was basically just the cook - but even that's still super important when it comes down to basic survival skills - along with park's botany expertise.

Edit: Do you think, if he did fix some of it, that he specifically chose camille in the "fixing"?

Edit: I mean, if you wanted to show complete transparency and fairness - which in the beginning he was struggling with how to show that - you would have everyone write down their own names and place it in the empty case themselves with everyone watching. He chose to arrive with everyone's name already in it.
