Normally this late in the season, the standings remain pretty static. But this week, the Stallions are the only team that didn't change position!

The Storm move up to the top for the first time this year, currently have the best record, and are the first team guaranteed a playoff spot! Their opponent, the Renegades, have now lost 5 in a row after starting the season 3-0.

The Battlehawks move down a spot after losing to the previously bottom ranked Gamblers. Houston moves up to 6th for that win.

The Defenders move down two spots. Not only did they lose to the Kings, who are now in the spot above them despite the worse overall record, they also lost Ta'amu for the season, which likely made an impact on how peoppe voted.

And finally, after losing to the Stallions, the Aviators are once again in the bottom spot. They were previously there in weeks 2 & 3.

After three straight weeks at #1, the Defenders have finally been dethroned after their loss to the Kings.

Meanwhile, the Stallions and Renegades played each other, and Birmingham coming out on top allowed them to switch places with Dallas.

And finally, the Aviators and Gamblers both lost (to the Battlehawks and Storm), further solidifying their bottom spots.

This was a very interesting week. While it looks like everyone had a pretty solid top 3, votes for the 4th through 8th place teams were all over the place! It doesn't help that FOUR of those teams all have the same 2-4 record, and the 3-3 Renegades have lost three in a row. That seems to have been enough to put the Kings just barely above them, despite their worse record. Even the Stallions almost snuck ahead of them.

What do you think of how this shook out?

The Defenders solidified their top spot with their 17 point win over the Stallions. As such, Birmingham also solidified their bottom spot even further.

The Storm had their first loss last week against the Battlehawks. This was enough to boost St Louis back up to third, but interestingly, not enough for people to put them above Orlando in the power rankings.

A similar situation happened with the Renegades losing by 22 to the Kings in week 5, which was enough to drop Dallas down to fourth, but interestingly still on top of the Kings, who are in 5th.

And finally, we had the Aviators/Gamblers matchup. Both teams were 1-3 going into the game, so it only makes sense that the winner of that game ended up on top of the other in the power rankings.
