I Rejected it! What would you guys suggest?

Got this vehicle allocated, went to do an inspection and this is what I get -

  1. Rear gate Dent

  2. Color issue multiple places on bonet

  3. Issue with auto tail gate not closing

I've straight away rejected and asked for a new one. What do you guys think? Any other ways to deal, please suggest

Hi everyone,

I’m planning my first Japan trip for around 10–12 days in November, and I’m trying to figure out the best itinerary and whether going all the way to Hokkaido makes sense.

My rough plan right now is:

Spend about 5–6 days in Tokyo

Then travel to Hokkaido for another 5–6 days

I know I can take the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto and continue onward to Sapporo and get back to Tokyo to finish my trip and head back home from there.

I’m considering getting a JR pass (possibly the JR East-South Hokkaido Rail Pass or another regional pass), so I wanted advice on whether it’s worth using the pass only for Tokyo ↔ Hokkaido travel, or if there are other regions/cities I should include along the way to maximize the value or just take an individual ticket from Tokyo to Shin-hakodate-hokuto?

A few questions:

- Is Hokkaido a good idea in November?

- Will there already be snow/scenic winter landscapes around Sapporo, Otaru, Hakodate, Noboribetsu, etc.?

- Or is it more of an “in-between” season where it’s cold but not yet fully snowy?

- Is 5–6 days in Hokkaido too much for a first-time Japan trip?

- Would it make more sense to split that time between Hokkaido and somewhere else?

If I’m already taking the Shinkansen north, what other cities/regions would you recommend stopping at?

Sendai?

Aomori?

Hakodate?

Nikko?

Somewhere else in Tohoku?

If you had 10–12 days in November, would you:

Do Tokyo + Hokkaido only

Or combine Tokyo with Tohoku/Hokkaido for a more balanced trip?

I’d especially love suggestions from people who’ve traveled to Hokkaido in November.

Thanks!
