Thoughts on Killarney vs Rosebank
I've found a dream apartment to buy in Killarney, or I could buy a smaller, reasonable place in Rosebank, similar levies.
I think that Killarney is beautiful and the buildings are great. I've always liked Rosebank and, in some ways, it has just gotten better (despite CoJ issues), Keyes Art Mile and some good apartments being completed. Rosebank Mall definitely wins over Killarney Mall, and I appreciate how walkable Rosebank is.
My instinct is that Rosebank may be a safer investment, but Killarney has a great vibe, and it also seems secure if I want to rent it out in future, popular with young professionals. Although Rosebank could be better for expats or occasional AirBnb.
