Need to reupholster my Hans Wegner chair but I don’t have $6K. Advice welcome

Need to reupholster my Hans Wegner chair but I don’t have $6K. I’m in Connecticut.

I inherited my Dad’s chair—that he had reupholstered by someone who was not certified but it was fine. The fabric was ok and lasted a long time. He lived in Philly and I don’t know where he brought it, otherwise I would bring it there again.

Now I need to have it redone and I’m nervous about using anyone, other than someone who is familiar with this chair. I do not have $6k, which is what it will cost according to reps at DWR. Obviously I’d love to have it done properly but there is no way I can afford that.

Does anyone have a suggestion for someone near me, I’m in Fairfield county CT. Or any other suggestions? Thank you for any advice and for holding back judgement.
