this is not a rant or bash about 32bit float so don’t worry, I may have a snarky comment or two though.

That being said, for those coming into the sound world, why are you choosing to prioritize a 32bit recorder?

I am genuinely curious about the thought process.

are you choosing to forgo learning and understanding gain staging?

I know it is a becoming a popular approach but I feel people are coming at this with as a gimmick and actual useful too.

Thank you folks, trying to quell my ignorance a bit.
