Getting into good trades without experience?

Im 25 and just have my highschool education in the Southwestern Ontario area. I work as a janitor and make good money... for cleaning 25/hr but that's about as high as it'll be other than a few cents raise every few years.

Currently in too much debt(poor financial responsibility 20-23) to afford going to school and not work 60+hrs a week simultaneously (which i can't guarantee I'll get that many hours) for at least 2-3 years, by then if nothing bad happens I could goto school.

So basically I'm just curious if there are any good jobs i could get into now so i can start building a career. Plumbing, millwrights, HVAC, and a few other trades interest me but it seems like everyone wants you to be at least already in trade school, to take an apprentice.

I've also been considering going for the lowest level construction jobs to hopefully count as experience and maybe that company would take me as an apprentice later. But idk if thats a dumb idea and i should just take the suck for a few more years then goto school.

Also don't have anyone i know who could get me into anything so that's a nogo.

Youtube in background no longer reliably working

I use YouTube premium in the background mainly, and have been using GOS for 4 years now, however I've been having more and more issues with this app specifically for about a year.

It started out with occasionally (1x a week or so) needing to force stop the app and then I can continue. But for about 2 months its been everytime I use it. If I start the app for the first time I can select a video and immediately goto another app or turn off my screen and it'll work, but when I goto add a video to my queue or even just actually watch the video, when I close the screen it no longer plays in the background, the two remedies I have found to work are 1 force stop the app, or 2 goto the video, pause the video, and with the phone closed or on another app press play on my earbuds.

Before discovering those remedies I tried unrestricting battery usage, did nothing, I then tried exploit protection compatability mode which also did nothing, and those in tandem changed nothing. I didn't have this issue before and the past handful of updates haven't changed anything.

I have everything upto date, using a Pixel 8 Pro. My roomate on stock android Pixel 9 doesn't have this issue. I ofcourse will keep on using GOS as its overall a small issue, but still annoying.

I was also wondering if anyone else had this problem and or had a suggestion to fix it?

To any devs thankyou for all the hard work put into this project, I am not placing any fault on you.

Thoughts on bedroom soundproofing plan.

For any relevant context. I rent and while I can do some drilling I can't replace walls or fill in-between them with foam. I have a carpet but don't know how thick it is. So far I have added a u shaped door sweep and weather stripping to my door. I also added outlet incert pads or whatever they are called. In terms of white noise I have a fan on in my room and a air purifier/fan in the living room outside it. I don't know if my door is solid or hollow but can't change it regardless.

My main goal is to reduce sound leaving my bedroom and being heard by my roomate who is typically in his room sharing a wall with mine. Due to the layout of my room I basically need to have my bed against/very close to the shared wall.

The types of sound I'm hoping to prevent escaping are sounds of my girlfriend and I being intimate, normal indoor volume levels of talking, and any laughing to be reduced so it hopefully isn't annoying.

Future plans are to find some sort of door pannel that is affordable or at least justifiable that doesn't look bad. And I'm confused on if acoustic panels are helpful for my situation as I read that they will help prevent noise from leaving the room and then shortly after will dead that they only help with sound quality. I also have a metal bed frame that was quiet and has occasionally started to make noise with "movement" so I am thinking of adding small bits of rubber or something similar between any movable parts.

I'm really not bothered by any of the sound that enters my room but ideally id prefer to spend under 300$ cad. But can spend more if it makes a big difference.

Sorry if any of that was rambly, just wanted to get everything relevant.

Recommendation for protection product.

I'm hoping to find something that I can apply myself without some high skill requirement. My main goal for a product is 1 dust repellent /makes cleaning easier. 2 lasts for at least a few months preferably 6+. The hopeful last goal is some added form of uv protection on things like trim.

For summer months i drive about 500-900kms a month and in winter that drops to about 200-300kms

I'm in southern Ontario so temp is mid 20s-low 30s in summer and in Wintertime it can get to below - 25c and we heavily salt our roads from roughly November - April.

My wash routine is about every 2-5weeks i pre wash (currently surfex HD at 5% in pump foamer), rinse with hose, contact wash with GSF a little above the recommended dilution ratio(when empty i plan to switch go built hamber auto wash), and finally rince with distilled water in pump sprayer and towel dry if I'm not about to drive a long distance right away.

I also don't need the very best as I hope to get the car repainted in 2-5 years depending on finances. But am ok with spending a decent amount depending on the durability.

Lmk if any other information would help.
