Anyone else think this show has the best pacing of any Glitch show so far?
With Game-o-verse out now, I really came to see what amazing pacing we got with Gaslight. I know people like to complain about murder drones, and TADC wasn’t bad, but gaslight was really the peak of amazing pacing.
It started slow, easing you into the world with subtle introductions of character in the background, then we get a thrilling chase that slows down after the crash, and it stays pleasantly slow as we really get to meet the characters and get to know them, along with receiving the promise for the episode. Then it gets fast for the heist and only slows down for Mel’s moment of “you’re proud of me, right?” Which was a worthy thing to slow down for.
Then again it speeds up fighting the bird and getting the heck out of there all the way up to Ken’s speech, then gentle slowing as we see Mel’s expressions, before everything comes to a screeching halt at the egg cracking.
If that ain’t some beautiful pacing I don’t know what is
