Is it normal that my open bite is worse with my first trays of Spark?
Hi there,
I have a slight open bite problem, where my front teeth don't touch. I just started Spark and, when I put my first trays, only the back molars touch, the bite is much more open than without trays. Is this normal?
Hi, I (30 M) went to the dentist 7 days ago because my molar (31) next to my wisdom tooth was hurting a fair bit when I chewed or drank cold water. They removed the semi-impacted wisdom tooth next to the molar because they said it caused the cavity in the next molar.
So basically, 7 days after the procedure, I was still in pain from the extraction but it was managable with Ibuprofen. I went to the dentist again so they could fill the cavity in the next molar (they told me the CT scan doesn't show nerve damage, but because I feel pain when chewing I might need a root canal).
They tried to start the procedure but the pain was unbearable, they gave me two shots of local anesthesia and all the left side of my mouth was numb, but it was still really painful when my dentist used water on my tooth.
They told me the pain could come from an infection, perhaps in the cavity and also in the hole of the removed wisdom tooth (they told me it looks like the hole is infected, which is weird because it doesn't really hurt that much and there isn't any pus).
They prescribed antibiotics for a week and then we will try again. Is this common? I'm kind of scared that it won't fix the pain and I will not be able to get my filling/root canal done, I don't really want to be put to sleep with anesthesia just for this... so I'm kinda anxious/fearful ):
