What’s the best frfr, I’m seeing Laney but they are pricey. Any recommendations?
Or is it more worth to get a power amp and a regular cab.
Looking at frfrs bc I absolutely love my tone as is with my QC, so I want to preserve my IR tone.

Please I need presets that don’t suck doo doo. I’ve had my unit for 2 months, have downloaded almost 90 presets and have only found 3 that sound OK.
I’ve made my own presets by taking bits here and there from other presets, neural captures, etc. but it just still sounds “off” I really can’t put my finger on it.
I play hard rock metal, and I have audio recordings from my old real mic’s tube amps (a Mesa mark V) that I A/B compare with quad cortex tones. It just never sounds as good.
QC tones are always too boomy, sound like a transistor radio, or just disappear in a mix. I have to be doing something wrong lol so any tips would be appreciated.
If anyone plays Alice In Chains, Metallica, TOOL, etc like I do and uses a certain QC preset for this genre please share! Thanks yall :)

I wanted the SLO 100 plugin, but are they really any better than what can be found for free on the QC? I saw a comment somewhere saying you cant scene switch correctly between clean and dirty channels on the SLO specifically, are there issues to be aware like this with plugins?
