Temper your expectations on a new awoken skill
I have a feeling this will not be an awoken skill for CAC's. Not only has an awoken skill never been included in a paid DLC, but after Dimps' decision to announce a mission yesterday and a slideshow today as "new features" for us to be excited about, I'm reminded that they never fail to disappoint us.
Not to mention, if you notice the CAC is holding Fu's sword in the cutscene. I have a feeling this is just a cutscene where our character grabs Fu's sword and does some sort of attack/power and not an actual transformation.
Remember, Dimps never gave us SSBKK, Pure Progress, Dyspo's awoken skill, a playable Rage Trunks, or even a playable 2nd Form Cell even though you fight him in a mission.
I'd also argue we won't be able to play as Fu's new form since it took years before we could play as Final Form Mira, Demigra, and Corrupted Zamasu (and even then, they're limited to training/crystal raid bosses).
Just temper your expectations unless you want to be disappointed.
Time Gods of Destruction - thoughts?
I always thought there could be a Time God of Destruction since there's a Supreme Kai of Time, so I'm pretty interested in this if it turns out to be true
Energy Charge shouldn't take a skill slot
Something that always bothered me with XV2 was having to use up a skill slot to charge your ki. Games like Kakarot and Sparking Zero have core mechanics for charging ki, and this is something modders improved in XV2 by making it to where you could hold the block button + another button (just like you do for grabbing) to charge ki. With how stamina and ki have been replaced with a single energy meter, charging ki should be a guarantee 100% of the time regardless of what skills you have equipped, since the recent gameplay video has shown that when you run out of energy your guard gets broken. Hopefully enough people voice their concerns about this if they agree and Dimps can implement this as a game mechanic rather than a skill before the game releases.
Partially related (and shown in the screenshot), energy charge shouldn't have a cooldown imo. Doesn't make a lot of sense for energy management to be hindered by a cooldown meter when it isn't even an offensive skill.
