30% left in the first 2/4 seconds? Gotta be kidding me!

Just to share some stats about my last video.

Context: new channel, 2 months, 148 subs.
5 long vids (about 5/6min each)
Few shorts (maybe 15)
Niche: GameDev Indie game development

Just released a new vid this week and 30% left in the first 2/4 seconds! Insane!

I mean, how can we judge a video if we see 2 , 3, 4 seconds only?

Dont tell me about hook ok, 2 seconds is not enough to tell any hook! LOL

Anyway, just sharing here how frustrated i am with those stats.

Hope u guys are getting better stats than mine!

Someone is running ads on my shorts. Is it bad?

Hey fellas, I am very new to YouTube, and I have created my channel to talk about my indie game.
Today I noticed that one of my shorts went from 1.2k views to 25k.

95% from paid promotion (ads advertising)

First I was shocked and happy. But now I have mixed feelings because I don’t know who did it, how they did it, why … nothing. It also resulted in zero subs.

Gemini says to disable the embedded thing. Which I did now.

The real question is, does all this noise hurt my channel? It is less than a month old.
