LaTeX IDE Is Now a Standalone APK

So, guys, the LaTeX IDE is now a standalone APK, with no need for Termux.

I’d like to thank the Termux community for all the support and for the amazing project. If anyone needs the LaTeX engine compiled to run on pure ARM64, feel free to DM me.

Neovim + Zathura: PDF Zoom Changes After Recompiling LaTeX

Hello! I’d like to get some help with a strange interaction between Neovim and Zathura when compiling LaTeX.

The first time I compile my document, Zathura opens the PDF correctly using Best Fit. However, whenever I save the document and compile it again, the PDF zoom changes automatically, causing the page to become much smaller and harder to read.

I’d like to keep the Best Fit zoom level after every recompilation instead of having to adjust the zoom manually each time.

Has anyone experienced this issue or knows how to configure Neovim, Zathura, or the LaTeX compilation workflow to prevent the zoom from changing?

Zathura

I’m very happy with myself for managing to compile Zathura for Termux using the Docker environment provided by the developers. I think everyone should help compile the things they like on Linux so that we can rely less on proot environments, which have slightly lower performance compared to native execution.

I would also like to thank the developer u/TomJo2000 , who said he would compile it. Thank you so much! 🫂

Need Help: Can’t Get Texlab Working on Neovim in Termux

Hi! I’m trying to get Texlab working with Neovim on Termux (Android), but I just can’t make it work.
I’ve honestly tried almost everything I could think of. I’ve reinstalled Texlab, changed my Neovim configuration multiple times, tested different configs, checked my PATH, verified that the texlab binary exists, and followed several guides, but I’m still stuck.
The main problem is that Texlab won’t start correctly, and I keep running into issues. At this point I’m not sure if it’s a Termux-specific problem, my Neovim configuration, or something else.
Has anyone managed to get Texlab working on Neovim inside Termux? If so, could you share your configuration or explain what I might be missing?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Is it even possible to build this dock with quickshell? And why does everyone make the exact same circular, lifeless docks?
