Not sure where to find this part

I was able to take apart the tension rod. It seems like it has all the pieces needed except the top collar piece is broken in half and missing a little bit of where the spring should hold on to. Any suggestions of where I could buy this piece?

Need help with what to do next

I'm looking to redo my husband's family's rocking chair. Looking at it, I had a feeling the pink fabric was not original to the piece. Underneath. There's a large hole. After doing some research I thought it was possibly covered with a circular leather piece as the seat. Today I decided was the day I was going to try to repair it. I started to pull out the tax to get the pink fabric off and I came across different kinds of stuffings and a woven piece underneath. Reaching my hand up. It does not feel like there's a lip on the hole underneath the seat. I'm not exactly sure if I should proceed taking the pink off or I should just put it back the way I found it. Any suggestions please?

Myomectomy or fibroid embolization

Hello everyone. I am 50 years old and looking for other people's experiences. I have had terrible periods since I first started having them. My cycle length and predictability got better after being on birth control, but heaviness and massive clots remained. Over the last year, my cycle has been changing, longer between cycles skipping one all together. I had a fibroid noted 3 years ago. I had another ultrasound this year show growth (Intramural myometrium fibroid located in the left fundus region,

measuring 8.6 x 8.0 x 6.4cm with a volume of 230.3cc). My gyn suggested doing an embolization. He felt that with me being close to menopause and having one fibroid this could be a good option. I had never heard of embolization as an option before. I would be interested in hearing other people's experiences with either procedure. Thanks!

Help, this spot will not take stain

I am not sure where I have gone wrong. I sanded the whole table down. I covered it with stain and it seemed like the stain took everywhere. I coated it with polyurethane and it seemed like the polyurethane was pulling a little bit of color but not enough that I worried about it. I went to check on the table this morning and I have a spot that is just not covered. So I thought I'll sand it down just a teeny bit and try to put some more stain on that one spot. The spot has grown larger and more obvious. As you'll see in the pictures. Any suggestions. I don't want to start over again but I'm not sure what else to do.
