I've often wondered how they reconcile how they live. Do they really believe the things they say to their congregation, or do they realise it's all a big farce?

This can't be right, can it? The battery stays at 100% for maybe half an hour of driving, then any little bit of elevation drops it to 99%, then it drops to 90% very quickly, and any stress/inclines bring up the Low Voltage warning. Then it drops to 80% in a few minutes of driving, then any stress turns the chair off completely.
What do I do? I don't think my third-party engineer really understands the chair. He says to only charge it when the battery gets low, but if I leave it uncharged overnight, the battery drops even faster the next day, and that was when the battery was NEW.
He'll just order a new battery, which will be in the same state in four or five months. It's soul-crushing, to be honest.
How can I find out what's going on?

How should "secreted" be pronounced? I don't mean the "secreted" of "The frog secreted a toxin from glands in its skin", but the "secreted" of "In a box hidden beneath a floor board, the prince secreted away the note from the baroness".
My instinct is that, to differentiate the prince's 'secreted' from the frog's 'secreted', it should be pronounced like secret instead of secrete, just with 'ed' at the end.
I've heard people pronounce them exactly the same, but I think it must be wrong.
I get the feeling he was. It would be nice and convenient for him to have become cynical after what happened to Mattie, but I think it works better if he was always a bad guy.
