I’ve never been great at keeping receipts.
At first, I kept them all in my wallet.
When that became messy, I upgraded to a “better system” — throwing them into my car. 🚘
The problem came later, when I want to
A return something .
A warranty claim.
Looking for Proof of purchase.
And suddenly I was searching through old papers, drawers, and random compartments trying to find the right receipt.
More than once, I ended up telling my wife, “I gave it to you.” Somehow she always won that argument. (Don’t ask me how. 😄)
The funny thing is, I know I’m not the only one with this problem.
That frustration is what led me to build
My Buddy — a simple app where you can take a photo of a receipt and keep it safely stored for when you actually need it.
I’ve been using it myself for the last few weeks, and I was genuinely surprised by how useful it is in day-to-day life.
Now I’m sharing it with friends and family to see whether others struggle with the same problem and whether this makes life a little easier for them too.
