AI-Assisted Resume vs Paid Resume Expert?

First two images is my original resume after taking copious amounts of feedback from the community and using AI-assistance. Third image is a one-page resume that a paid professional recommended. Thoughts? For my original resume, I've been lightly editing it to align with job listings. I've been applying all over the digital marketing space, mostly senior-level roles. Mostly for things that are looking for full-funnel strategy and/or execution. Some in more specialist roles (SEO Specialist, Paid Media Specialist, etc.)

I don't get calls back. Interviews have been sparse and rarely advance to a second round, despite my walking away from each of them thinking they were productive. I'm honestly a little underwhelmed by what the paid consultant came up with. It seems to be more like "this is what I did" and very light on the proof points of how it positively affected the company. Am I missing something here? Is the one-page professionally produced one better?

I'm about to crash out now that my unemployment is running out. Savings won't last too much longer. I just need a job, y'all.

Recruiters, what are you looking for on LinkedIn?

For context, I had been with my last employer for nearly 15 years and honestly thought they'd be the employer to retire me. And now I'm nearly a half year into seeking gainful employment with barely a call back. I let LinkedIn pass me by, but I'm hearing now that in 2026 it's how recruiters are getting around the 500+ spam applications they get when posting jobs the traditional way.

So any recruiters reading this, what are you looking for when you are looking at LinkedIn profiles? Should I be posting something daily? Posting what, exactly? How long do you actually spend looking at a profile before knowing if you want to reach out?

I really appreciate any feedback regarding this. I'm exhausted with sending resumes and it seems like you are all exhausted with reading them.

I've edited this resume so many times my eyes have gone crossed. Applying for roles in Digital Marketing, in particular mid to senior level strategy leadership positions. But also to some lower level execution focused roles. I feel like my resume should at least be putting me into consideration for screening calls if nothing else. But I've had maybe an interview per month on average. Any suggestions?
