It is said to be a crossbreed between Jinxuan/2022 and Qingxin oolong in 2004

Bought it for cold brew initially, but I wanted to taste the aroma that isn't available in cold brew.
Initially , I wasn't willing to buy winter tea as spring tea has started selling. Boss gave me a small discount for clearing his remaining stock.
Winter baozhong is known for it's slightly lighter aroma and better aftertaste (喉韻)compared to spring baozhong tea.

A species of tea that used to be commonly grown in pinglin is becoming rare and much more difficult to look for. Due to its extremely slow growth and small harvest volume , Da Man Zhong tea trees are uprooted to grow Qingxin Oolong (青心烏龍)and other fast growing oolong species with more harvest volume (e.g Jinxuan , YingXiang)
