Does anyone else feel like off-grid living changes the way you look at relationships?

Been living off grid for a while now and one thing I didnt expect was how much less tolerance I’d have for complicated relationships.

Out here everything feels simple. You work, you eat, you fix what breaks, you enjoy the quiet. Then you deal with someone who brings constant drama into your life and suddenly being alone in the middle of nowhere doesnt sound lonely at all lol

I used to think love meant constantly working through things no matter how exhausting it got. Now I kinda think the right person should make your peaceful life even more peaceful.

Anyone else notice this after living off grid for
awhile?

whats one thing you wish you did differently with your off grid setup

been living off grid for a while now and honestly theres a lot i probably wouldve done differently if i could start over lol

nothing major and i still love it but theres definitely stuff you dont really think about until youre actually out here living it everyday

for anyone whos been doing this a few years what would you change about your setup if you had to start again?

could be solar, water, the land you bought, where you put the house, stuff you wasted money on etc

just curious what mistakes everyone else made because im still changing things around on mine
