Runt if the litter puppy with hydrocephalus?
Long story short: i've waited for this litter for pretty long time, as the parents are healthy and specially the father is a very decent sprintdog.
I got to choose between two puppies, but pictures didn't show the best build. I chose (of course) the smallest one without knowing.
She's pretty much been the runt of the litter since 3-4 weeks old.
I just got her now that she's 8weks. She's been checked by both the breeders vet and my vet, and they said she's fine (for now). But suddenly i started to think about maybe she had hydrocephalus?
When I picked her up she weighed 2,5kg at 8weeks. Breeder said she had gained 400g over a week.
I notice her face and head is much less developed and start to wonder if she has any condition?
Breeder said she'll gain weight fast once she's in our care, as she's from a pretty big litter (12puppies), and they thought she maybe was a little bullied by the others and didn't get as much access to food.
She gets vom food for puppies and goat milk (smaller portions and more often). Her poop is fine, and she's very adventurous and has no problem taking off. a little wobbly but i do think it's the puppy wobble with long limbs.
Anyone has experienced the same? Or have any advices or maybe can calm me down? I'm nervous there's something wrong with her (i won't stop loving her tho).
