MGM glitch gives away $10,000 in FreePlay to hundreds of Rewards members on July 4th…
On July 4th I swiped my mgm rewards card at 8am at MGM National Harbor & hit the promotions tab.
It awarded me $10,000 in slot FreePlay !!
I thought I had gotten extremely lucky but then I heard an excited scream, the lady next to me won $10,000 too. Then another woman got $5,000. Then another got $10,000….
What the hell?
That’s when I realized this is a glitch…l
I rushed upstairs to activate my FreePlay & to take advantage of it while calling my wife telling her to get her ass to the casino before they fixed it… lol
In the end, HUNDREDS of people were awarded the MAX amount their personal players card allowed depending on level. Pearls got $1000, silver got $2500, gold & platinum $5000, & Noir got $10,000….
MGM realized their mistake after about 2 hours but I’d guess over a million dollars in freeplay was handed out before they put an end to it…
In all I pocketed around $6000 in cash & went home to watch the fireworks on America’s 250th birthday!!! God Bless America!! 🇺🇸
