Trim color change advice wanted

Trim color change advice wanted

I have a 1920’s colonial ish house that I want to update the look of without taking away character. We had the roof replaced but it’s not quite as dark of a color as expected. Our plan is to do the trim a darker grey color but we have window grilles that are permanent and not removable. Has anyone done the trim a darker color and left the grilles white? I feel like they wouldn’t be that noticeable but I am hoping someone here has some ideas. And I know that white and brick is the “traditional” look, but we are just looking for something different. Some of the mock ups I’ve seen here are super impressive and was hoping some of you would be willing to share your creativity and give some ideas for our exterior redesign “lite”. Wouldn’t be opposed to adding walkways or a covered porch

Thanks!

Color match

Had some tuck pointing done on my home, and the company said that the color would “weather in”. My wife and I are having a hard time with how different the colors are. Would the professionals and experienced among the group consider this normal? How would we go about asking the company to remedy it?
