What a joke
I use h&r block every year for my taxes because they offer the emerald advance loan. Its always nice to get that money early when you have young kids. But I'm thinking I'm done with this place. Besides the fraudulent charges made on my account. A few months ago every single time I tried to use my card or transfer money the transaction was DECLINED. There's money in there but I couldn't spend it at all anywhere. I spent almost 2 hours on the phone waiting for someone in customer service to answer and no one ever did so I hung up. I figured well the money isn't going anywhere since everything is being declined. I though wrong.... Two months go by and I find myself needing the money left in that account, ($88). I log into my account and notice that there is now $19 available and a bunch of transactions have gone through that I did not approve or make myself! So I file a claim with fraud department. I want my money back. Had the transactions not been declined like they had, I would have had my money. Today I received a notice via text message, 3 days after filing a claim with the fraud department, that my claim has been DENIED. I havent received any other information about it or why it was declined. I figure this place doesnt care about keeping long term clients so I'll be going elsewhere from now to have my taxes done.
