Local 3
So I was able to snag & submit an application for local 3 I lived near stl metro area, they were supposed to open up applications last October but then said not till next fall so then I found out I was having a kid and moved back near family in local 2 area.. currently working for a cold form steel company since Ive been here I have one vacation day left and can't take no points else I'll be let go.. I might be able to get off for the eait next month but no guarantees. So you're probably asking "what's the issue" well not that I have a 6 month old I can't just up and leave jobs anymore Ive became more responsible since he was brought into the world and I'm having anxiety attacks because I'm worried if I go to the EAITs and rank will be then needed for an interview which therefore I HAVE to kill the interview because I will be let go from my current job HOPING for a LIFE changing career that will better not only my life but my sons life.... Should I go all in on local 3 or wait till local 2 opens in October and risk not being able snag an application.. or what if I rank low and never get called now I'm jobless with my shock in my hand and this economy isn't good for being jobless with a kid. I'm feeling like homer simpson when he's on the boulder getting smacked between a rock and hard place....
