Financial Assistance for Single Mom of Toddler
Can anyone give me some suggestions on assistance programs for single moms where the requirements are not solely income based?
All federal and government programs are based on income and on paper I make too much money yearly for those programs (40K). However, I am a single Mom, whose income doesn’t even cover my necessary monthly expenses. Between rent, utilities, car insurance, gas, and most of all DayCare, I can’t pay everything. I’ve already lost my health insurance due to nonpayment, which is a struggle because I have a chronic health condition, but it was either that or have my child kicked out of daycare for nonpayment which meant I wouldn’t be able to work and then not be able to pay any other bills.
If anyone has any suggestions of programs or charities or anything that might be able to help me, it’d be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
