does my male green anole look underfed?

i recently got my first anole, and have been doing tons of research to make sure he's healthy and thrives as long as possible since this is my first reptile. i read something about how if you can see their ribs and tail bone at the base of their tail then it means they're under weight? i've had this lil guy for a little less than a week now and i have been feeding him 1-2 mealworms or crickets, or whatever stray bug i find around the house daily (as long as it doesn't sting or is poisonous) which he always happily takes, but im worried about his weight, should i be feeding him more than 1-2 bugs a day or just wait until he gains more weight from what i've already been feeding him?
any beginner tips for keeping anoles are also welcome, as i've been struggling to find good information on their husbandry needs. it seems they're uncommon for good experienced reptile keepers since i've mostly been seeing inexperienced kids caring for them with less than the absolute bare minimum. i know they're considered a "beginner friendly reptile" but i don't want that to mean they need less care and attention (health and husbandry wise) than any other kind of pet, i want him to live as long and happily as possible.
