Had a very weird experience at Banaras. Our server insisted on cash tip. When my friend didn't understand what he was saying he took the payment console, selected "cash" for tip, scribbled the signature, and gave it back. This happened to anyone else?

In case anyone is wondering why I didn't report, we paid the same tip so it didn't matter, and didn't want to get the server in trouble. The food was excellent as always. Wondering if there's some kind of wage or tip theft happening.

I want to have constant access to the roses so I can continuously prune and deadhead the spent blooms. Don't want to plant bushes with a taller habit as they would block the sun to the rose bushes.

What are some good ideas for ~ 12" flowering bushes? PNW 9A

Spouse has license and insurance. Friend was driving their spouse's car. The bank is demanding full payment which is understandable. My question is specifically on the legal ramification of the accident from the police involvement. Thank you.
