Advice Wanted: Italy Wedding Locations That Are Easy for Int'l Travel

Hi everyone! I’m helping a US-based bride research a wedding in Italy for ~40–50 guests and could really use real-world advice. We’re looking for picturesque venues/cities/towns (with contingency indoor/rain options) that:

  • Are easy to get to from the US—budget-friendly airports like Rome, Milan, or Pisa would be ideal, with simple train connections (ex. Trenitalia/Freccia Rosa) if needed.
  • Have a range of lodging options to suit different budgets. On-site lodging for immediate family (14-16) would be ideal (open to Agritusimos, B&B's etc.)
  • Make it easy for guests to reach the venue —walking, Uber/Taxi, or public transit.
  • Are near good “jumping-off points” for guests who want to explore Italy before or after the wedding.
  • Aren’t so remote that guests feel stuck or need constant meals/entertainment for the whole weekend.

If you’ve planned, attended, or know great towns/venues, I’d love to hear your tips—just sharing a general list here, no need to DM at this point.
