What the heck is a thumbprint and why are we all obsessed?

From what I’ve seen it looks like you take one strain of rosin as the base and then you put another on top so it looks like those cookies you get from the bakery. Is that it? Is there something special I’m missing?

It’s paper. When it gets old it turns yellow. This is normal. I have shonen jump from 2003, they are stored in my bookshelf with closable doors.

Guess what? They’re yellowing, oh my lord 😱

And you know what else??? Some of the pages are warped 😱😱😱

I understand when you’re buying a new copy online and it’s yellowed/warped, but I’m seeing way too many “oh no my manga is yellowing slightly so now I can’t read it anymore and it’s ruined” posts
