So I was randomly thinking about the old Hyoi Gattai system, or direct integration with Guardian Ghosts, and I got to wondering if something like that would work with the Elemental Spirits. They never display any sort of personality or individuality compared to other ghosts, and they generally seem like they're just subservient embodiments of elements. But then there's Hao who makes a comment like "Unlike me, the Spirit of Fire has a short fuse."
