First book that I read completely - The Psychology of Money

I never read books outside my curriculum. I thought reading the books on your syllabus was more than enough, and that is what is important. But I saw influencers recommending reading books on reels and YouTube. So, I bought some but never completed them because not having much interest.

Recently, I am very bored with watching series and mobile addiction. So, I thought, let's buy a book to complete its reading. Luckily, the book I bought was the best book that is globally recommended to everyone.

The more I read it, I realise why it is recommeded to read books. The Psychology of Money directly relates to my psychology and the mistakes I have made in recent times with money. So, it was a must-read book for me. And this book become a first book that I completed reading.

Now, I realise that reading books are the biggest and best source of knowledge. Books not only teach you but also improve your mental health, like therapy. After completing the book, I immediately bought the next book and started reading it.

Built a simple SaaS for self-destructing secrets — looking for feedback

Let's take up a scenario where it can be useful

You want to share your .env file with another developer. There are numerous other options available but suppose I choose Ilusion

I will create a secret there with text or by directly uploading a file. It even features password protection, adding an extra layer of security. If I am aware of the other developer's IP address I can add an IP restriction as well. The secret can also be auto-expired.

The main advantage is that once viewed the secret will be deleted even from the database, so no traces will be left.

Once you log in, you will get a custom subdomain where the secrets can be dropped in your inbox.

It is completely free and you can explore all the features available.

I’d really appreciate feedback on:

  • The concept itself
  • UI/UX
  • Trust/security concerns
  • Features you think are missing
  • Anything confusing or unnecessary

Would you use something like this? Why or why not?

Thanks

A tool to catch schema drift and API changes before they break your ETL pipelines. Looking for feedback!

Most pipelines break because an upstream source changed without warning. I built a platform to catch these issues before they crash your ETL.

What it does:

  • Schema Monitoring: Detects renamed columns, dropped fields, or type changes in real-time.
  • Uptime Checks: Verifies your APIs and Databases are online before the pipeline runs.
  • Instant Alerts: Notifies you the moment drift is detected or any problem with the source.
  • Simple Setup: Connect your SQL DBs or REST APIs in under 2 minutes.

Would you use it and what features would make this a "must-have" for your workflow? Thanks!

I'm looking for honest feedback on the MVP.
