Is ICE ERO still I got law enforcement agency to go into

I'm looking at making the switch to go into an ice deportation agent well I know what we saw in the news last year and this year. I feel like it'll be a good you know law enforcement switch up and you know over time be able to get a little bit higher GS grade. What has y'all's experience been so far with the modified academy that used to be 42 days and I'm hearing now it's going to be like 72? Also if any agents right now what's the day-to-day life

How come federal employees are worrying about performance appraisals

I saw a couple articles about how the federal government are only going to allow certain federal employees to receive fives and fours while most of them receive threes. I don't see the big deal as long as you are successful at your job who cares what your score is. I understand some people get some kind of money or something or some kind of prize or whatever you get who actually cares. All you got to do is just do your job and go home at the end of the day and you're good. I'm a federal employee myself so I understand how the process works I just don't really care you just do your job and you do it to the best of your ability without you know messing up of course you know we all get like any other job you get you mess up you get written up or whatever.

Any updates on job announcement 26-DE-12890564-RT ATF AGENT

So as the header says I got the tentative job offer for the ATF under job announcement 26-DE-12890564-RT. I filled out all of my forms for the security clearance and did my fingerprint car and submitted that end but it's been almost 2 weeks and it's been radio silence. I was saying have any of everyone else heard the same thing about their application or is it just me

Whya are police agencies trying to fail officers on FTO

I see this all the time on reddit, I thought the senior officer is supposed to be mentoring probation officer so then can learn and improve and not dock them and force them out

Why do agency get upset when applicants apply to multiple agencies at once for law enforcement

I never understand why so many background investigator or chiefs get mad when applicants apply to multiple law enforcement agencies as a police or cadet. People are just trying to get a job to pay bills and live. Why fault people that. I also understand that it does waste resources for the agency as far as background checks, interviews ect. My thing is if an agency is mad and don't want to hire someone because of that, then the applicant does not have a firm offer and don't behave a job in the first place. I want to hear from you all.

keep saying articles that federal employees complain that they are underpaid and overworked. Being a federal government employee myself I don't see a lot of that. It seems like a lot of federal employees dislike veterans for some reason but I don't know but I work in excess of 60 hours a week and it
