Hello everybody,

I just received my PR as of last month, and I was wondering of ways to land a job in the industry. Is there something I need to acquire beforehand? How is the job market, and would I have any significant chances of getting into?

Some basic info: I am 28, hold a Master's degree in Medical Biotechnology and about 1 year and a half experience as Product Manager for a pharmaceutical company outside Canada as well as in sales, but in a different industry.

Besides that, I have worked as a research associate and a biological technician as well.

I am currently waiting to get my PR in Canada. A life-long dream of mine has been to pursue clinical medicine, but during my early 20s, I thought I would make much more of an impact if I opted for research medicine instead, so I graduated in Italy for Medical Biotechnology with a Master's focused in Neuroscience. My GPA throughout both bachelor's and Master's has been 3.92 converted into the Canadian system.

After finishing my studies, I have worked as a research associate in two highly prestigious hospitals in Italy and Germany respectively, where I have contributed in clinical research for neuromuscular diseases in particular.

During my time in Canada, I have also volunteered in elderly care as well.

I was wondering, should I consider applying for Med School with my credits, or is it practically impossible?
