This is probably a ridiculous question, apologies in advance. In my previous role, we used databricks for building out our data and AI products. I’m in a new company and wondering whether it’s needed. A little context, we are in our early stages of data maturity, have no cloud support, dev ops is in its early stages, barely any support from an infrastructure perspective or security.

Is databricks worth the money and effort to build and deploy agents, agentic systems, AI products, etc. in so that there is a more controlled environment or should we just build natively as it is easy to build now with AI? My worry is about support, scalability and security.

My ex is remarried and I’m still paying alimony. My current lawyer thinks I’m stuck until they are potentially even out of college but is also a lower cost lawyer. Looking for someone who can help me understand my options and help fight for fairness for myself and children. Willing to pay the extra money for the best results. Someone ruthless and able to stand up to his very ruthless lawyer. Thanks in advance!

Edit: by ruthless, I am just looking for someone who can stand up to his lawyer. Last time we were in court, I ended up being pressured to just give in to multiple things because the GAL and my lawyer were so fed up with being blocked from them on every point.
