Foundation concerns or overly cautious (help)
Hey team, in the progress of framing up 10x8 garden shed. I’m concerned about the capacity of my piers/foundation. Here is some data:
-Western Washington
-shed on a slope so sonotubes used to establish flat platform
-(4) 10” diameter sonotubes varying depth. Front tubes around 18” into soil
-hand tamped the sh*t out of the native soil prior to pouring. Seemed to compact well
As I’m getting to framing I’m just growing concerned this thing is going to sink. I chatgptd this foundation design along the way and got the thumbs up a few months ago. I resubmitted my design to AI again and it was a little less sure of itself.
