To get you babe...
This has been in my head for too long, and I have now lost my mind.

There are ~31 studio albums by the Beach Boys, which is A LOT.
Despite that they're my 'favourite artist' and I could sing back over 100 of their songs, I have barely scratched the surface of their discography. 11/31 (not great...)
I thought it would be interesting to see how everyone on here compares in terms of the albums that they actively return to, know well, and generally like the music on.
Rough examples:
Pet Sounds: Regularly listen to all of the songs - Tick
Today!: Have most songs downloaded and enjoy listening through - Tick
Wild Honey: Have 2 songs downloaded, gave the album it a listen but it didn't stick - Cross
Still Cruisin': Never listened - Cross

I've had an arranger workstation (Yamaha PSR-S970), for the last 7ish years up to diploma level. Here's some standard demos: youtu.be/NaHA6zALkLc youtu.be/YYEiFBaKh1M, but you can do some wild stuff. However I feel kinda limited by it:
Its mainly suited to product demos, restaurant music, 'cheesy' concerts, and events. The software is very proprietary, you can't add custom patches or program any synths, it's 12kg, pads/drawbars/knobs are barely present, and there's no aftertouch (which I'd like to try).
Over time I've become interested in artists like Pink Floyd, The Band, The Doors, Bruce Springsteen, New Order, and King Crimson. I'm keeping my old keyboard, but the arranger features make most of the instrument dead weight when gigging (I'm going to uni soon and will join a band).
Should I get a new all-in-one, or a MIDI keyboard and use my laptop (I already have all the software I need, don't ask lol).
Which keyboards would you recommend?
61/88-key? Synth/semi/weighted/weighted action? My budget is preferably low-ish <£600 (Nords are a bit much...). I'm thinking 61-key, portable, minimal hassle to integrate with software. The Arturia Keylab Mk3 61 looks pretty ok?
Thanks in advance : )
