Ive already read Song of Achilles and Circe by Madeline Miller and I loved her writing style and I’ve been chasing that high ever since !
I’ve read these titles recently:
Clytemnestra by Costanza Casati
Silence of the Girls by Pat Barker
The Shadow of Perseus by Claire Heywood
and I’m currently reading The Daughters of Sparta by Claire Heywood.
I feel a bit tired of retellings of the Iliad (as much as I love it) and want some on the Odyssey as well. Circe was a great example !
I also would like the retellings not to stray too far away from the mythos, no academia or anything like that.
