Recently picked up a new to me 2024 X5 and quickly noticed excessive rattling and squeaking from the tailgate, among other areas. Upon taking it for service, the techs were "shocked at how noisy it was" and had clean, dry lubricate, and felt tape "every seal and contact point in the car" in order to help ease the noise. My question is: how common is this? It seems odd for a car this new, with only 27k miles and a clean CarFax to need that much work to not sound like it's about to fall apart. Car has spent its whole life in Colorado, nowhere excessively desert-y or dusty.
